A gentle space between darkness and light.
The name Blue Hour Therapy is inspired by that quiet time just before sunrise or just after sunset — when the light softens, the world slows down, and everything feels momentarily suspended. It’s a liminal, transitional space and it reflects how therapy can feel: a time of stillness, reflection, and gentle emotional change.
My name is Sarah Lund and I am the person behind Blue Hour Therapy.
I am a BABCP-accredited psychotherapist with specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and I have worked in NHS Talking Therapies for several years, supporting individuals with depression and a variety of different anxiety presentations including PTSD and trauma related presentations. My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, while at the same time deeply person-centred: I care about creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly seen.
In addition to CBT, I draw on compassion-focused therapy, schema-informed practice, and mindfulness-based approaches when working with trauma, shame, or emotional stuckness. I believe healing happens through connection, and I strive to build a genuine, collaborative relationship with each person I work with.
Therapy with me is about making sense of your pain, reclaiming your story, and learning to meet yourself with more kindness and compassion.
I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation so you can get a feel for how I work and whether we might be a good fit. This is a space to ask any questions and talk through what you’re looking for from therapy — no pressure, no commitment.
If we decide to work together, therapy sessions are £70 and last 50 minutes.
I currently offer online therapy via Microsoft Teams, making sessions easily accessible from wherever you are.
